Who Pays?
Most osteopathic consultations in the UK are paid for privately however, osteopathy becoming more widely available on the NHS. Check your primary care trust for more information or ask your GP. If you have private mediacal insurance, you may be covered for osteopathic treatment but you must always check your policy first.

Whether you've been hurt in an accident, injured your back, suffered whiplash injury reasulting in neck pain or someting else, we can provide Osteopathic treatment for you regardless if your claim is settled or not. Many private health insurance policies provide cover for Osteopathy, and therefore it may be possible for you to claim for a course of treatment but you should check in advance with your insurance company before seeking osteopathic treatment, in order to confirm the available level of cover and whether you will need to have a referral from your GP or a specialist.
If you are paying privately, you do not need a referal - however, if you are planning to claim on your insurance, some companies will only cover the cost of treatment if you are referred to us by a GP or specialist so please check your policy's terms & conditions.
