If you experience sudden pain then use a cold-pack or bag of frozen peas (wrapped in a towel to avoid burn) place onto the affected area for 5 minutes then replace with a hot water bottle (not boiling and covered to avoid burns) or wheat bag to the affected area for 4-5 minutes. Repeat-alternating with cold and hot until 5 sessions of treatment have been completed. Always finish with cold- Repeat as necessary. |
